Westwood Junior High Home
Westwood JH hosted the annual U.I.L Academic Competition recently. Panthers competed against students from Frankston, Elkhart, and Malakoff in events such as oral reading, spelling, number sense, and social studies. Thank you to Westwood Baptist Church, Westwood High School, all of the volunteers that helped with this event, and UIL Coordinator, Mrs. Melissa Evans.
American History students in Mrs. Miller's History classes created posters to illustrate the first political parties. The posters showed how the parties stood on trade, agriculture, industry, foreign relations, and financial rule.
In the May 15th Special Board meeting, the School Board reviewed and unanimously approved the District of Innovation Plan.
